Artist Statement
My work explores what it means to be human from the intricate details of our anatomy to our depth of emotion, I find endless inspiration in the complexity of humanity. I hope to tell the story of who we are through my art. I use the classic techniques and mediums of the old masters to achieve realism while incorporating backgrounds such as book pages and sheet music for a contemporary aesthetic. My current anatomy series ‘Under the Surface’ portrays the extensive beauty, form, and function hiding beneath our skin.
